At Dickerson Management and Career Consulting, our mission is to help both for-profit and non-profit organizations maximize their competitive advantage through human capital. We offer human resources consulting, development workshops, employee surveys, and coaching. Whether in person or remote, we're committed to helping you with your people management.
Owner Marcia Simmering Dickerson, Ph.D., is an award-winning educator and researcher with over 20 years of experience in people development. She is currently the Francis R. Mangham Professor of Management at Louisiana Tech University, where she has been a faculty member since 2003. She holds a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management from the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. in Management from Michigan State University. She has the SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications, and is a certified executive business coach. She and her husband Steve live in Choudrant, LA, with their daughters Lydia and Josie.
While our team consists of several industry and subject-matter experts, Marcia is extremely hands-on and accessible and will be your main point of contact as we begin to work with your company. She is invested in the Northern Louisiana region, having chosen it as the place to build her career and family, and committed to making a positive impact in the surrounding community.
